The gemstone in this beautiful little necklace is made from Highland heather. Made of sterling silver plated pewter and heather stone.

This piece features a center stone created from Highland heather wood. The stems are collected in the Highlands of Scotland, compressed into this unique material, and hand painted in the colors of the Highlands! A great way to celebrate Scotland and its natural beauty. You will always have a little piece of Scotland with you!

Pendant measures 1" x 3/4" on an 18" chain.

Heathergem Heart

This lovely heart is everything I had hoped it would be. The only problem was that I had planned to give it to my daughter Heather, and I picked "green" for the Heathergem, and it seems to be more "blue". My Heather has green eyes, and so I am going to keep this heart for me, and try ordering another one, pick green again, and see if it is more "green". I totally understand that the "gems" may come out different colors, but I would like to find a more green one for her.
I first learned about Heathergems, 46 years ago when my brother and sister-in-law brought me a Heathergem pin from Scotland when Heather was born!
