This piece is even MORE gorgeous in person...

This piece is even MORE gorgeous in person!

It's a really nice weight, not too heavy, but nice and sturdy. It will be perfect to hold my medium weight wrap/ruana together without worrying about it damaging the fabric.

It lays VERY comfortable against the chest if wearing on a shirt.

Great quality. I was also a little concerned about whether the knotwork would be visible enough without the background being oxidized, but it is definitely visible. Since the background is matte and the raised knotwork design is polished, they contrast nicely. It IS a bit more subtle, but it makes this brooch more elegant. I would absolutely (and can't wait to!) wear this with formal attire. It's that elegant. But you can just as easily wear this with more causal clothing. Great for all occasions!
