Large Satin Finish Pewter Celtic Brooch measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/2

This brooch uses Celtic interlacing to form a strong but intricate woven celtic knot in the penannular style. Finished with a satin look to give this brooch the authentic feel of an ancient pin!

This beautiful piece incorporates Celtic Interlacing, with its "overs and unders" representing the "ups and downs" of life; and the unbroken continuity of the endless ribbon symbolizes the hope of eternal life. As such, they are considered by many as a talisman of long life.
