Solid Sterling Silver with your choice of authentic gemstones: purple amethyst, green amethyst/peridot, smoky topaz or citrine.

This beautiful Celtic Spiral is a unique piece that will be loved for a lifetime. Rich in symbolism, this small circular pendant incorporates ancient Celtic trinity knots, triskele, and spirals into a potent representation of balance and the complexity of our journeys through life.

1 1/2" x 1" on an 18" sterling silver chain. 8 carat total gemstone weight.

Derived from the Greek word "Triskeles" meaning "three legs", the Triskele or Triple Spiral is a complex ancient Celtic symbol. Often referred to by many as a Triskelion, its earliest creation dates back to the Neolithic era, as it can be seen at the entrance of Newgrange, Ireland. The Triskele gained popularity in its use within the Celtic culture from 500 B.C. onwards.

Firstly, the triskele can be thought to represent motion as all three arms are positioned to make it appear as if it is moving outwards from its center. Movement is believed to signify energy - this Celtic Symbol represents cycles of life and individual progress.

Secondly, is the symbolic significance of the three arms of the triskele. Some of the meanings are: spirit-mind-body, mother-father-child, and past-present-future.
