Solid Sterling Silver with your choice of authentic amethyst gemstone with Owyhee blue opal.

This beautiful Celtic Spiral is a unique piece that will be loved for a lifetime. Rich in symbolism, this pendant incorporates ancient Celtic trinity knots, triskele, and spirals into a beautiful representation of balance and Life's journeys.

1 1/4" x 1" on an 18" sterling silver chain. 5 carat total gemstone weight.

Derived from the Greek word "Triskeles" meaning "three legs", the Triskele or Triple Spiral is a complex ancient Celtic symbol. Referred to as a Triskelion, its earliest creation dates back to the Neolithic era, as it can be seen at the entrance of Newgrange, Ireland. The Triskele gained popularity in its use within the Celtic culture from 500 B.C. onwards.

The triskele represents motion as all three arms are positioned to make it appear as if it is moving outwards from its center. Movement is believed to signify energy - this Celtic Symbol represents cycles of life and individual progress.

About Owyhee Blue Opal

This lovely blue variety of opal is a quite rare stone that is found in only one location in the United States. As the name of these stones is unusual it may be helpful to learn the pronunciation of their name, which is oh-wah-hee.

The name of Owyhee Blue Opal stones may seem unusual, but it relates to the location where they are found, near the Sacred Indian Springs in Owyhee Oregon.
